This recipe I'm posting features M&M's. M&M's are sold in several of La Bella Baskets' gift baskets.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter flavored shortening
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup white sugar
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup candy-coated milk chocolate pieces
Directions:
1) Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
2) In a large bowl, cream together the shortening, brown sugar and white sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg and vanilla until well blended. Combine the oats, flour, baking powder and salt; stir into the creamed mixture. Mix in the candy-coated chocolate pieces. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
3) Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until light golden brown.

Oreo Banana Split Pie Recipe
This recipe I'm posting features Oreo cookies. Oreo cookies are sold in several of La Bella Baskets' gift baskets.
Ingredients:
13 Oreo cookies, divided
2 cups chocolate ice cream, softened
1 Oreo Pie Crust (6 oz)
3/4 cup hot fudge ice cream topping, warmed, divided
2 bananas, sliced, divided
2 cups strawberry ice cream, softened
Directions:
Cut 5 of the cookies in half. Finely chop the remaining 8 cookies. Set aside.
Spread chocolate ice cream into crust. Freeze 30 mins. or until ice cream is firm. Drizzle with half of the fudge topping; top with the chopped cookies and half of the bananas. Spread strawberry ice cream evenly over bananas, completely covering bananas.
Insert cookie halves, cut-sides down, around edge of pie. Top pie with remaining banana slices and remaining fudge topping. Freeze at least 1 hour or until firm. Store leftover pie in freezer.

CHIPS AHOY! Mudslide Pie Recipe
This recipe I'm posting features CHIPS AHOY cookies. CHIPS AHOY cookies are sold in several of La Bella Basket's gift baskets.
Ingredients:
20 CHIPS AHOY! Cookies, finely crushed (about 1-3/4cups crumbs)
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) margarine or butter, melted
1 qt. (4 cups) coffee ice cream, softened
1 cup thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
1/2 cup hot fudge ice cream topping
4 CHIPS AHOY! Cookies, coarsely crushed
Directions:
Mix finely crushed cookies and the margarine until well blended. Press firmly onto bottom and up side of 9-inch pie plate to form crust.
Spread ice cream into crust. Freeze at least 6 hours or until firm.
Top with the whipped topping just before serving; drizzle with fudge topping, then sprinkle with the coarsely crushed cookies. Store leftover pie in freezer.

Valentine's Day Dessert Recipes
Are you looking for some great desserts to make for you sweetheart on Valentine's Day? The recipes listed below should satisfy your sweet tooth on that special holiday. The recipes I have included are Secret Kiss Cookies, Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies and Red Velvet Cupcakes.
Secret Kiss Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup finely chopped walnuts
30 milk chocolate kisses
1-1/3 cups confectioners' sugar, divided
2 tablespoons baking cocoa
Directions:
1) In a large bowl, cream the butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Gradually add flour and mix well. Fold in walnuts. Refrigerate dough for 2-3 hours or until firm.
2) Shape into 1 inch balls. Flatten balls and place a chocolate kiss in the center of each; pinch dough together around kiss. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
3) Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes or until set but not browned. Cool for 1 minute; remove from pans to wire racks.
4) Sift together 2/3 cup confectioner's sugar and cocoa. While cookies are still warm, roll half in cocoa mixture and half in remaining confectioners' sugar. Cool completely. Store in an airtight container. Yield 2-1/2 dozen

Oreo Cheesecake Bites Recipe
This recipe I'm posting features Oreo cookies. Oreo cookies are sold in several of La Bella Baskets gift baskets.
Ingredients:
36 Oreo Cookies, divided
1/2 cup butter or margarine, divided
4 (8 ounce) packages Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1 cup Breakstone's or Knudsen Sour Cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 eggs
4 squares Baker's Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate
Directions:
1) Heat oven to 325 degrees F. Line 13x9 inch baking pan with foil , with ends extending over sides of pan. Finely crush 24 cookies. Melt 1/4 cup butter; mix with crumbs. Press onto bottom of prepared pan.
2) Beat cream cheese and sugar with mixer until blended. Add sour cream and vanilla; mix well. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each just until blended. Chop remaining cookies. Gently stir into batter; pour over crust.
3) Bake 45 minutes or until center is almost set. Cool. Meanwhile, microwave chocolate and remaining butter in microwavable bowl on HIGH 1 minute; stir until smooth. Cool slightly; spread over top of cheesecake. Refrigerate 4 hours. Use foil handles to lift cheesecake from pan before cutting to serve.

Chocolate Caramel Turtle Cookies Recipe (Ghirardelli)
I will start posting some recipes that feature brands that are sold by La Bella Baskets. The first recipe I'm posting features brownie mix by Ghirardelli.
1 box Ghirardelli Caramel Turtle Brownie Mix
(1 pouch mix and 1 pouch caramel)
4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) butter, softened
1 egg
18 pecan halves
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In large bowl, place brownie mix, butter and egg. Using a electric mixer, mix on low speed 1 minute or until dough forms. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls, 1 inch apart, onto ungreased cookie sheet. With thumb or handle of wooden spoon, press indentation into center of cookie dough and fill with caramel. Place 1 pecan half on top of caramel. Bake 11-13 minutes. Makes 18, 2 1/2 inch cookies.
